Chemistry and Metallurgy Research Replacement - Nuclear Facility (CMRR-NF SEIS) | National Nuclear Security Administration

NNSA appreciates the public interest in the CMRR NEPA process.  The public comment period concluded on June 28, 2011.  However, in response to the Las Conchas fire which affected the Los Alamos community, NNSA reiterated its commitment to consider comments received after that June 28, 2011 to the extent practicable as it prepares the Final CMRR-NF SEIS. 

Please be advised that NNSA has now begun preparation of the final EIS.  NNSA will be able to consider comments for purposes of the final EIS that are received by 11:59 pm MDT, Tuesday, July 5, 2011.  Comments received after that date may be reviewed, but will not necessarily be formally addressed in the final EIS.
