More than 17,000 lbs. of equipment headed to Japan | National Nuclear Security Administration

More than 17,000 lbs. of equipment is loaded in to an Air Force C-17 just prior to take for from Las Vegas for Japan on Monday afternoon. The equipment and highly trained nuclear emergency response personnel are being sent to Japan as part of the Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration’s effort to assist Japanese personnel with nuclear issues.
