NNSA's Consequence Management operations involve the deployment of the following assets in response to a radiological or nuclear emergency:
- Aerial Measuring System [1] (AMS)
- Federal Radiological Monitoring and Assessment Center [2] (FRMAC)
- National Atmospheric Release Advisory Center [3] (NARAC)
- Radiation Emergency Assistance Center / Training Site [4] (REAC/TS)
Each asset provides specialized capabilities to include analysts, scientists, doctors, nurses, specialized equipment and systems to support radiological or nuclear response operations in protecting the health and safety of the public and the environment.
